What can Pipe Bedding and shingle be used for?
Pipe bedding is a type of shingle or gravel aggregate that is primarily used for laying pipes in the ground by ensuring even pressure to avoid pipe leaks.
At Aasvogel we can provide 6-10mm and a larger 20mm shingle option of pipe bedding. This recycled washed gravel material is a flexible product that has a range of purposes. From being used as straight pipe bedding to facilitate drainage and soakaways to lining driveways or paths, our shingle is very flexible.
It can also be mixed with light or sharp sand to create a strong and textured concrete base to use in further building and landscaping works.
Delivery of Pipe Bedding and Shingle
Our washed pipe bedding and shingle products are available for collection and delivery. Orders to can be placed for a variety of quantities, ranging from 20 tonnes through to smaller skip capacities right through to bulk bags – and even smaller if being collected.
If you require delivery to a site or property with limited or challenging access, we would recommend bulk bag orders. This is because these have the ability to be placed directly on site.
This is an advisable delivery option for larger projects. These bags can be filled with waste material post aggregate delivery and then collected by us to be recycled into more aggregates.
